Mission Statement:
Zion is a Christian church gathered around God's Holy Word, the Bible, to nurture and strengthen believers by teaching the forgiveness of sins through faith in Christ and to bring all people to Christ by sharing this message.

We are...
- a Christ-centered church. We preach Jesus Christ, the crucified and risen Lord, the only Savior of the world. Through his sufferings, death, and resurrection, we have the forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. (Acts 16:31)
- a Bible-based church. We teach the Bible, the true and inspired Word of God. We believe that the Bible is the only authority for Christian faith and life. We share God's Word in all its truth and purity. (John 17:17)
- an Evangelical church. We are not satisfied to keep these treasures of God to ourselves. We bring the good news of Jesus Christ to all people. Beyond our efforts in the community, our church body has congregations across the U.S. and missions in over twenty foreign countries. Everyone is welcome to worship with us. (1 Timothy 2:3,4)
Zion Lutheran is located in Torrance, Cailfornia, 1.5 blocks from the 110 (Harbor) Freeway and the 223rd Street exit. Everyone is welcome to come and visit us for worship.
