Zion Lutheran School exists to provide a structured Christian education to our students based upon God's Word and academic studies. It is further the goal of Zion Lutheran School to nurture our students in the Word of God and to spread His message to their families.
Philosophy of Education:
Zion Ev. Lutheran School is founded on these eternal truths as revealed in God's innerant Word, the Holy Scriptures.
The Lord gave parents the primary responsibility for the Christian training of their children. (Deuteronomy 6:7-9, Ephesians 6:44)
The Lord also gave to His Church and hence to each Christian congregation the responsibility to train its children according to the Scriptures. (Matthew 28:20, John 21:15-17, Ephesians 4:11-16)
A congregation calls pastors and teachers to function in its midst as ministers of the Word of God. ( I Corinthians 12:28-29, Ephesians 4:11-12)
There is only one true God--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and He reveals Himself through the Holy Scriptures. (I Timothy 2:5, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19)
God created all things in six normal days and created mankind as the crown of that creation. (Genesis 1, Psalm 8:4-8 )
Man's fall into sin has corrupted the nature of every human being, making all men guilty of sin, and therefore, subject to eternal damnation. (Isaiah 64:6, Romans 3:9-19 & 23, Romans 5:12-16, Romans 6:23 )
God through His grace, love, and mercy sent His only Son, Jesus, to suffer and die to pay for all mankind's sins. (John 3:16, Romans 5:6-8, 1 John 2:2)
All who through the work of the Holy Spirit, believe that Jesus is their Savior receive forgiveness of sins, eternal life and salvation. (Romans 5:1, Romans 8:1, Titus 3:4-7)
As believers in Jesus, Christians will strive to show their love to God by using all their gifts and talents to spread the Word of God. They will also help their fellow Christians and all mankind in every way that is consistent with God's Word. (Matthew 25:31-46, Matthew 28:19, Psalms 51:10-13, II Corinthians 5:14-15)
The eternal truths stated above are the foundation of ZionEvangelicalLutheranSchool, its curriculum, and all of its activities. Through its Christian education program, Zion Ev. LutheranSchool strives to provide faithfully for the eternal welfare of each child and to guide him/her in the maximum development of his/her spiritual, mental, and physical abilities given to him/her by God.

Welcome to Zion Lutheran School! Zion Lutheran School was established in 1986 by the concerned members of Zion Lutheran Church. Parents wanted to have a school where their children would be instructed by dedicated and qualified teachers that would put Christ, our Savior, in the center of all instruction. Over the years the school has proven to be a blessing to the children, parents, and the entire congregation.
The purpose of Zion Evangelical Lutheran School is to provide a Christ-centered education based upon the inspired Word of God, the one and only authority for faith and life. We believe that an education without Christ is an education without foundation and purpose. It is in this light that Zion Ev. Lutheran Church operates this school for the education of our congregation's children and for reaching out to the community with the Gospel of Christ.
Zion Lutheran School's primary purpose is the Christian training of the children whose parents are members of Zion Lutheran Church. However, our school also realizes its responsibility to heed our Lord's command to "make disciples of all nations." Therefore, our Christian day school is committed to serving as a mission arm of the congregation.
